Valentine's Day is almost upon us. The day where those who are coupled find out just how much their other half love's them based on the price tag on the gift they are given, and those who are single have to show themselves some love - no not like that, as in buy themselves a gift. I jokingly asked my husband what he will be getting me for Valentine's Day, he thought he was being hilarious by just sitting there smiling and pointing to himself with both hands. I was not amused. Ok, maybe I chuckled a little, but no buddy - I need a retail gift this year. I've done a little window shopping and compiled a list of things I would love to receive on February 14th. Hopefully he reads this blog post, like a good husband should, and takes the hint. Although, come to think of it, if he does read this, it's not really a hint because it's fully spelled out for him. Oh well hubby, get your credit card ready …….
Only Mine Chocolate
These hand crafted chocolates not only look stunning, almost too pretty to eat, but they taste amazing. So forget the chocolate love hearts or box of chocolates from the supermarket this year and splurge on something a little more special. Lots of delicious flavours to choose from, Peanut Butter was my absolute fave, and there's even some limited edition Valentine's Day flavours. Free shipping on orders over $90 (wink, wink), I'll just leave this store link here … www.onlymine.com.au
Noble Fellows Princess Petunia Rosé
If you are gifting chocolates on Valentine's Day, it's only natural that you gift them alongside a bottle of top quality wine. I think Rosé is fitting for Valentine's Day - it's a beautiful pink colour, fruity and romantic. Noble Fellows Princess Petunia Rosé is an excellent choice and available nationally from Dan Murphy's and BWS stores. A premium blend of quality Marlborough Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris, with an abundance of luscious strawberry, bright red cherries and cranberry flavours that complement the palate, followed by a crisp, fine acidity and a long finish. Cheers to that!
Nothing says 'I love you' better than a personalised gift. Vistaprint Australia have a massive range of customisable gifts to help lovers convey their feelings this Valentine's Day. A Photo Coffee Mug, a USB Flash Drive that says 'You Drive Me Wild', a custom Photo Book so you can walk down memory lane (maybe even whilst enjoying the chocolates and rosé), the possibilities are endless.
